House Shopping

Ok the time has come and we are ready.......to buy a house!!! (Can you ever really be ready?) Oh my goodness, I can't believe I'm saying these words. Trent and I have been saving a lot of pennies over the last year in hopes to purchase a home and about a month ago we decided it was time to get serious and start looking. We've gone twice now and looked at several homes. It's so fun to look and to picture our lives in each of these places. We've found some serious fixer uppers and we've also found some move-in ready things. All but one that we've looked at are third party approved which means the bank makes the final say on what they'll sale the house for. Anyway, this means good deals for us but, because they are such good deals, things can be competitive. We've put in a few offers so far that haven't been successful, but we're going to put in more offers tomorrow. Scary, but so exciting. I lay in bed at night and think of where we could put our couches and furniture.
